What began as conversations between two mothers balancing business and family, soon grew into something more.
Over the past 20 years, Victoria and Hannah have each built careers delivering large-scale festivals, exhibitions, product launches and public events, alongside running independent businesses on Oakham High Street.
Working across the UK and beyond, they kept coming back to the same question: why should people have to travel elsewhere for great events?
Rutland and the surrounding counties already have everything needed to create memorable experiences; talented independent businesses, creative makers, beautiful outdoor spaces and strong communities. What was missing was someone to bring it all together.
That's where Otherside Events began.
With a commitment to supporting independent businesses, showcasing local makers and creating opportunities for communities across Rutland and the surrounding counties, Otherside Events was created to deliver well-run, high-quality events that people can enjoy closer to home.
